Give, Fast, Pray

It's praying time. There is a lot of sickness: spiritually, mentally and physical. Let's pray together.

I have been studying Fasting all year long as the Lord gave me the vision to fast and pray for a revival. Revival means the improvement in the condition or strength of something. It's time to lift the name of Jesus and constantly present Him before all people.

What is a spiritual fast?
A spiritual fast involves abstaining from food while focusing on prayer.  I have read testimonies of individuals who went on a spiritual fast and receive more than what they requested  or expected of God. On thing if for certain that those who walk this path with definitely have a deepening relationship with God our Father, an attitude of gratitude for Jesus the Christ and a longing to obey the Holy Spirit.

We need to collectively call for the presence of the Lord, to receive a refreshing and to receive restoration. Matthew Henry, "When God intends great mercy for His people, the first thing He does is set them a praying."

It is prayer that will reach God and bring about a change in individuals who receive Him and who accepts what he is doing.

One of the hardest things for us to do is FAST. In Matthew 6, Jesus said when you give...., when you pray... and when you fast.... He lifts them as they all are equally important. When we can't discipline ourselves to fast or trust God enough to fast then we can very well relate to all of the violence that is going on in our world today. We as a nation and more importantly as Christians have strayed away from the discipline that has kept us. We need God and God's Word.

If you are one who has it all together, I say, God bless you and remember to pray for the rest of us.

Coming soon Faith Herron Ministry will have a Conference on Fasting! Stay tuned.
